Cambodia by bus wouldn’t be complete without Phnom Penh. Eternally linked to the horrors of the genocide by the Khmer Rouge, the capital has gone to great lengths to change its appearance. With a new boardwalk along the mighty Mekong River, Phnom Penh is quickly becoming a favourite backpacker hangout. Coupled with unbelievably friendly and humble people, Cambodia by bus has well and truly arrived.
